Donnie Brawner has been blessed with over 20 years of experience in live event production, entertainment and theatrical design. He is creative, manages a team of artisans and gets results. But most importantly he has a driving passion for doing the right thing and respecting his client’s true desires. He runs his company with the highest ethical standards.
His career started with supervision of entertainment operations at Six Flags in St. Louis MO and then the Grand Palace Theatre in Branson MO where Donnie was the Lighting Director for five years. The 4,000 seat - 1992 CMA venue of the year would bring over 3,000 shows throughout his stay including an entire host of theatrical productions, television, concerts & faith based events. Donnie spent three years designing and managing events nationwide for DHP in Springfield MO and consulting on a variety of entertainment projects and theatres.
Brawner & Associates, a full service turn-key design firm for live event production and facility development was formed in 2000 by Donnie & Karen Brawner. Donnie is the president and principal consultant.
Donnie has been blessed with incredible projects such as the Mexico Presidential Inauguration in Mexico City, fourteen years with Radio City Productions Christmas Spectacular and a ten-year relationship with Wal-Mart as lighting designer of countless multi-million dollar corporate meetings. Television credits include Gloria, A Thousand Voices Sing Christmas, Regis & Kathy Lee, Point Of Grace, Garth Brooks Live, Family Channel specials, Brad Paisley and others. He designed scenic and lighting elements for a 35 million dollar 4D EFX Theatre in Atlanta, GA, for SDC Entertainment. He has assisted the 7,000 seat Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas TX with their world renowned Christmas productions. Church organizations of all sizes have requested his assistance in the use of technology to reach their audience with the message of Christ. He has assisted churches nationwide with everything from technology design to worship center layout, acoustics, scenic elements and digital signage.
Since 2002 Donnie Brawner has been partners with Ron Robertson in a secondary company, "Radiant Creations" which produces lighting and laser special effects shows.
Donnie's education included Eureka High School and Meramec Community College in his home town of St. Louis, MO. He is celebrating 30 years as a St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoys grilling, boating, playing with the kids and sweet tea. Donnie married his best friend and partner Karen in 2002 and with daughters Ashley & Lauren reside in Springfield, MO.
