Historic Rodgers Theatre Renovation
The Rodgers Theater, in Poplar Bluff, MO, a nostalgic gem found in the “Gateway to the Ozarks” was an Art Moderne/Deco Movie house that embodies the quintessential pastime of many a baby-boomer. Built and owned by I.W. Rodgers, its Grand Opening June 1, 1949 brought much pomp and circumstance with eighteen hundred people attending. Now, a new grand opening is in its future. Read More

Ittner Architectural of St. Louis, MO held a building dedication last week for another high school theatre in O’Fallon Illinois. Brawner & Associates has worked with Ittner as General Theatrical Consultants on six different high school theatre projects in the St. Louis area in the last eight years.

The professional 500-600 seat theatres have included counterweight and motorized rigging systems, professional audio systems, lighting and video systems. Brawner & Associates was contracted by the Michigan Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church to conduct an acoustic study and audio analysis of their multi-purpose & multi-level gymnasium at the Great Lakes Adventist Academy. There is a series of camps held there each year that require an audio system that delivers clarity of speech throughout the space in a difficult room setting. Read More

The new First Baptist Church Marco Island Florida was completely finished in late 2008 with its sanctuary, outdoor baptistery & school. Brawner & Associates was hired in May of 2006 to design the sanctuary and technical aspects of other rooms throughout the church.
